Have you ever wondered how to clean the kitchen extractor hood, or how often it needs cleaning? The extractor hood is often overlooked when we clean the kitchen. We tend to wipe the ceramic hob daily and the tiles every few days, but spend less time on the hood.

As with other household items, how often you need to clean the extractor hood depends on use. At Agerul, we recommend wiping it after cooking to remove surface dirt and prevent build-up, and cleaning the filters weekly with Agerul Degreaser. Remember that a dirty hood does not draw in or extract all the airborne grease, steam or cooking smells. They go straight into the rest of the kitchen and even the house.

The result? More cleaning time and a very unpleasant smell in your home. Regular cleaning will not only extend your hood’s useful life but also keep your kitchen clean and free of unpleasant smells. What a difference!

All you need is a few minutes and our Agerul Concentrated Degreaser. You will see how easy it is!

How to clean the hood… In no time!
